The Miyabi 800 DP series has been crafted in FC61 steel with a 49 layered sparkling Damascus pattern (obtained through cutting and hammering). The blade is ice-hardened, while the handle is made of black POM with two embedded brass foils and a central mosaic pin.
Miyabi is a Japanese cutlery based in Seki; every single blade is crafted and processed in 42 days, going through more than 100 steps before the exportation. This extreme care for product quality has turned Miyabi in one of the most renowned brands in the world.
